I can't believe I almost forgot.
How could I let myself forget? I feel like such a horrible person. Dave deserves more respect than that.
Ironically, I was at a Team in Training fundraiser when I remembered.
I miss him.

I'm really sorry to read about your loss, even though it was a while ago. My wife is a leukemia survivor (seven years) and I still tear up when I remember that time and her struggles, so I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. It's a wonderful thing you are doing with Team in Training. I am a past participant and mentor and this season (kick off is next weekend) I will be the walking coach for the Dallas Metro Team. I'm really excited! Thank you for all you to do help the society and those that suffer with blood cancer. Hang in there.
I am so sorry for your loss. Reading your memories of Dave made me tear up. It sounds like he was a wonderful person.
