I'm world-wide!
Holy crap! I just got my first international donation... someone from Australia! WOOOOO!!!! That is so friggin' cool! Thank you!!!! :)
Gotta love the power of the internet!
After 3-1/2 years & 4 marathons with Team in Training, I decided to try something new. On Sept. 14, 2008 I will compete in the Nation's Triathlon in Washington, DC with TNT & on Oct. 26 I will do the 45 mile LiveStrong Challenge in Austin, TX with my family.
Come along for the ride!

TNT pays for my airfare, hotel for 3 nights, & entry fees for the race. At least 75% of every dollar I raise for the LLS goes directly to the LLS. The rest goes to pay for the airfare, training, etc. So the way they figure out the minimum amount for fundraising is they figure out what it will cost to get me to Alaska (airfare, hotel, training, equipment, administrative costs, etc.) then they multiply that amount by 4. So basically, they figure to get me to Alaska, it will cost about $1300. By raising at least $5200, I am essentially paying for myself, then everything else goes directl to the LLS for research, patient assistance, education, etc. :)
PS Kitty - I'm getting most of my donations online. That's why I have that TNT donation website. It makes it SO easy for people to make donations.
Here's the link. (I also have a permanent link on the right)
